James Veenhoff and Martijn Pater founded Fronteer in 2008; an anthropologist and an engineer laid the foundation for the company.

Our mantra comes from their perspective on complex challenges: ‘It can be done’. Even when things get tough, we look for the space to move forward. We stay optimistic, keep momentum, and choose to believe there’s always a way.
